Creamed Corn Bread
Moist cornbread has a wonderful texture
thanks to the creamed corn.
Ingredients:
1 pkg. Beer Bread Mix, unprepared
15 oz. can creamed style corn
1/3 cup vegetable oil OR melted butter
Directions:
1. In a bowl, stir together Beer Bread Mix, creamed corn, and oil/melted
butter just until mixed.
2. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
3. If desired, drizzle with 1/4 cup melted butter.
4. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 50 - 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Note: If a sweet cornbread is desired, add 1/4 cup sugar to the batter.
