I entered a coupon code and it's not taking a discount off of all of my
items.
Read the details about the coupon code in the e-mail or on the card that the coupon code originates from. It is probably not valid on bulk items (any item with the word "bulk" in the name), nor on "Free Shipping" items.
If there is an item that you are ordering that is not excluded from the deal and the coupon code does not discount that item, just put a note in the "Comments" section when ordering and we can take off any applicable discounts.
When will my order ship?
Orders ship in 1 - 2 business days.
If you have ordered a "bulk" item, this product is packaged just for you and may take an extra day to ship.
There are several items throughout the web site that specify "Availability"; these items should ship in the time specified (i.e. bulk mixes).
Large orders may take longer to ship. Orders over $150 may take up to 4 business days to ship, orders over $500 may take up to 7 business days, orders over $1,000 may take up to 10 business days, and orders over $1,500 may take up to 14 business days. In the busiest months (January, September, October, November, and December), the "worst case scenario" time frames listed above are more a reality than the rest of the year.
If your order is expected to be delayed, we will contact you.

The shipping costs calculated in the shopping cart are estimates only. Once your order ships, we charge you only the actual postage, labor, and cost of the box(es) and packing materials used.
Not sure which shipping method to select?
USPS Priority Mail is usually the fastest shipping method and the cheapest for smaller orders.
UPS Ground is the most economical for larger orders.
USPS Media Mail is a slow and cheap method of shipping only for books.
Orders can also be picked up at our warehouse, in Brookville, Ohio for little or no fee. For orders designated for pick-up, you will receive an e-mail letting you know when your order is ready. You will have 7 business days from that time to pick up your order. After 7 days, if the order has not been accepted, we will refund 90% of the order total, the remaining 10% will be applied to our restocking fee.

What do I do if there is something wrong with my order?
Contact us immediately.
We will make every effort to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.
If an item is damaged during shipping, we may require a picture e-mailed to us of the damage. Typically, we will issue a refund of the amount paid for the item, plus shipping paid for that item. If the package was shipped via UPS or USPS Insured, as soon as the claim is paid, we reserve the right to replace the item, rather than issue a refund.
What is your return policy?
Because most of our products are food items, we cannot accept returns. Therefore, we guarantee that any item sent to you will be of the highest quality. In the unforeseen event that something is amiss with one of our products, contact us immediately and we will resolve the situation to the best of our ability.
Non-food items can be returned, at your cost, for a refund of the cost of the goods (no refund of shipping fees will be issued).
Do you have a printed catalog?
No. Our offerings and prices change on a regular basis. The prices of spices and other products change frequently, and we raise and lower our prices accordingly. As soon as a catalog would be printed, it would already be out-of-date.
The Post Office's tracking information says that my package was delivered, but it was not. What do I do?
Unfortunately, this matter is out of our hands. Please call your local post office and ask to speak to the Postmaster. They can usually help you find the package or resolve the issue quickly. Have your tracking number available as they will need it. We've found that calling the USPS toll-free number does not result in a helpful outcome; be sure to contact your local Postmaster.
Do you offer overnight shipping?
Yes, for a price. Overnight shipping is always quite expensive. Please e-mail or call for pricing. Most customers requesting an overnight shipping quote do not end up taking that option due to the high cost.
Do you ship to Canada or other international locations?
Do you offer samples for your bulk mixes? I want to try them before I invest in large quantities.
Due to the overwhelming requests for free samples, we must screen requests and offer product at a discount rather than for free. Please complete the form on this page so we may verify that you operate an existing business that qualifies for the discount.
Once received, we will confirm your details. If accepted, you will be e-mailed a coupon code for 50% off applicable items ASAP.
Do you offer your items at wholesale prices?
The prices listed are our best prices.
At one time, we offered our gourmet mixes in wholesale cases, but no longer do. Instead, we sell the mixes in bulk (by the pound) and sell packaging supplies for them.
How do I place a phone order?
We prefer orders are placed online for accuracy. If you call and get our voicemail, we do not normally return calls for people who wish to place orders. You may attempt to reach us, however, at 937-770-1331.
Why we prefer online ordering.
This is the most secure payment method, as we never see all of your credit card information. If you place a phone order, we still enter your credit card information via the Internet, just as you would.
This is the most accurate way of communicating exactly what you want and where you want it shipped (remember playing the telephone game in Kindergarten?).
Internet orders receive e-mailed shipping updates; phone orders do not.
Can I mail in my order?
Yes. This method is certainly the slowest means of receiving your order, but we are happy to accept your order through the mail.

Be sure to click the "Apply" button after you select your shipping method; this will calculate your total, including shipping.

I ordered a "4 oz. Spice Jar" of a spice, but the label reads "Net Weight 1.75 oz." What's the deal?
We list each item packaged in spice jars by the size of the spice jar, rather than the net weight, though the net weight is always clearly listed in the item description. This is because most people are used to shopping for spices at the supermarket where you generally choose between standard sizes of containers; rarely does one look at the net weight of the contents.
I received my Bhut Jolokia pepper and it tastes very smoky. Are the peppers smoked?
We are not certain, but guess that they are. Our supplier from India states that they are mechanically dried, and that's all they'll say.
There are tiny fibers in my Bhut Jolokia pepper pods. Are they hairs?
No. They are burlap fibers from the bags in which the peppers are collected and shipped to the U.S. These peppers are inspected and approved by the USDA with the fibers intact.
Can I plant the seeds from your Bhut Jolokia pepper pods?
You can, but we cannot guarantee that you will grow plants from them. The peppers are harvested and mechanically dried for preservation and consumption, not for seed propagation. We've had a couple of customers say they grew plants from these seeds, but again, we make no promises that you can do the same.
We recommend that if you want to grow Jolokia plants, you buy the seeds.
Do you have a Ghost Pepper Extract?
There is no such thing as Ghost Pepper Extract... exactly... If there was such a thing, it would be the extracted capsaicin from the pepper. This chemical compound is the same in every pepper, there is just more of it in a single Ghost Pepper than any other pepper. So, what you are looking for is just pure capsaicin. We don't sell it because it has a bitter taste and is so spicy, there's not much real use for it outside of hot sauce manufacturing.
We offer the closest thing to it - Ghost Pepper Puree.
